World recognition at just 9 years old. Not a story. Rituraj Bhowmick of Bangladesh has received this recognition as the world's youngest series writer. Unbelievable but true. Rituraj Bhowmick has entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's youngest series writer.
On April 19, Rituraj's father Subhashish Bhowmick received an e-mail. Congratulation from Guinness Book of World Records in e-mail. Shubashish Bhowmick nervous at first after getting the news. Even though the news is on the website of Guinness World Records, it bewildered for a while without seeing any picture of the boy. Then he visited the website and saw that his son's name was actually in the Guinness World Records. Rituraj published an English story book titled "Goodwill Factory" in 2022. It was followed by "Goodwill Factory 2". Originally, he was named in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's youngest series author for this book.
Rituraj's father Subhashish Bhowmick wrote on his Facebook, "Seeing my son's name and the country's name next to him in the the world, I feel that I really don't have much more to ask for in this world."
Shubashish Bhowmick wrote in his Facebook post seeking blessings for his son, 'Bless Rituraj that his feet are always on the ground and that he can humbly return the love of people.'
Rituraj has written 10 stories on values and 7 stories on the role of children in making the world more beautiful and livable. The wonder of the world Rituraj Bhowmick is currently a student of class IV at the Australian International School in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Along with studies, he practices music regularly. He is also very interested in various sports, especially football.

মাত্র ৯ বছর বয়সে বিশ্বের স্বীকৃতি। কোনও গল্প কথা নয়। বিশ্বের সর্বকনিষ্ঠ সিরিজ লেখক হিসেবে এই স্বীকৃতি পেয়েছে বাংলাদেশের ঋতুরাজ ভৌমিক। অবিশ্বাস্য হলেও একেবারে সত্যি ঘটনা। বিশ্বের সব থেকে কনিষ্ঠ সিরিজ লেখক হিসেবে গিনেস বুক অব ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডসে নাম তুলতে সক্ষম হয়েছে ঋতুরাজ ভৌমিক।
১৯ এপ্রিল ঋতুরাজের বাবা শুভাশীষ ভৌমিক একটি ই-মেইল পান। ই-মেইলে গিনেস বুক অব ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডসের পক্ষ থেকে অভিনন্দন জানানো হয়েছে। খবরটি পেয়ে প্রথমেই ঘাবড়ে যান শুভাশীষ ভৌমিক। গিনেস ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডসের ওয়েবসাইটে খবরটি থাকলেও তখন পর্যন্ত ছেলের কোনো ছবি না দেখতে পেয়ে একটু থমকেও যান। তারপর ওয়েবসাইট ঘেঁটে দেখলেন, সত্যি তাঁর ছেলের নাম গিনেস ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডসে উঠেছে। ঋতুরাজ ২০২২ সালে “Goodwill Factory” নামে একটা ইংরেজি গল্পের বই প্রকাশ করে। তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় এরপর “Goodwill Factory 2” প্রকাশ হয়। মূলতঃ এই বইয়ের জন্য বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে কনিষ্ঠ সিরিজ লেখক হিসেবে গিনেস বুক অব ওয়ার্ল্ড রেকর্ডসে নাম উঠেছে তার।
ঋতুরাজ এর বাবা শুভাশীষ ভৌমিক নিজের ফেসবুকে লিখেছেন, ‘নিজের ছেলের নাম এবং তার পাশে দেশের নামকে বিশ্বের দরবারে দেখতে পেয়ে আমার মনে হচ্ছে, এ পৃথিবীতে আমার আসলে চাওয়ার আর খুব একটা কিছু নেই।’
শুভাশীষ ভৌমিক তাঁর ফেসবুক পোস্টে ছেলের জন্য সবার কাছে আশীর্বাদ চেয়ে লিখেছেন, ‘ঋতুরাজের জন্য আশীর্বাদ করবেন যেন ওর পা সব সময় মাটিতে থাকে এবং ও যেন মানুষের ভালোবাসার প্রতিদান বিনয়ের সঙ্গে ফেরত দিতে পারে।’
ঋতুরাজ মূল্যবোধের ওপর ১০টি গল্প লিখেছে এবং পৃথিবীকে আরও সুন্দর করে মানুষের বসবাসযোগ্য করতে বাচ্চাদের ভূমিকা কী হতে পারে, তা নিয়ে ৭টি গল্প লিখেছে। বিশ্বের বিস্ময় ঋতুরাজ ভৌমিক বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী ঢাকায় অস্ট্রেলিয়ান ইন্টারন্যাশনাল স্কুলের চতুর্থ শ্রেণীর ছাত্র। পড়ালেখার পাশাপাশি নিয়মিত গানের চর্চা করে সে। বিভিন্ন খেলাধুলা বিশেষ করে ফুটবলের প্রতিও তাঁর বেশ আগ্রহ রয়েছে।
