Prime Minister distributes more than 70,000 appointment letters under Rozgar Mela

Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh handed over 230 appointment letters of Government jobs to the youths on occasion of Rozgar Mela in Kolkata today.
Similarly, Union Minister of State for Education, Dr Subhas Sarkar and Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Shantanu Thakur also handed over 122 and 183 appointment letters to the newly appointees at Belur Math, Howrah and National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata respectively. Similar Rozgar Mela was also organized in Siliguri as well.
The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi vertually inaugurated the Rozgar Mela from Delhi. The PM distributed more than 70,000 appointment letters today. Rozgar Melas were held at 44 different places across the country .
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Ministers said that Rozgar Mela is an attempt to institutionalise government's recruitment process with a focus of transparency . They urged the new appointees to accord highest priority to serve fellow citizens as they are entering into the new beginning of their career.
