Excellent dance performance by Nrityabasa Prerona at annual dance festival

'Nrityabasa Prerona' is a notable name In the cultural arena of Burdwan. The performances of the students of this dance education center are highly appreciated in the country and abroad beyond East Burdwan district. On April 15th and 16th, the annual dance festival of Nrityabasa Prerona was held at Sanskriti Lok Manch. In a word, impeccable performance. Every dance has the impression of relentless practice.
Swami Ajneyanandji Maharaj, Secretary of Bardwan Bajepratappur Ramakrishna Ashram, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp along with Mangala Charan by Sujan Das on the evening of Bengali New Year. District Information and Culture Officer Mr. Ramshankar Mandal and the Principal of Nrityabasa Prerona also eminent dancer Smt. Amrita Das were present. After the inauguration phase, Burdwan Sadar (North) sub divisional Officer Mr. Tirthankar Biswas attended the event. Amrita Das, principal of Nrityabasa Prerna, welcomed him with Uttoriyo and Memento. A total of 260 artists, from children to young, participated in the two-days annual program. Under the supervision of dance guru Amrita Das, the students have been able to match themselves beautifully. Various stages of Odisha classical dance were presented by artists through their performances. Among them, the dance performance titled "Janani Go" managed to win the hearts of the audience at the beginning of the first day. Dance guru Amrita Das and every dance performance of the students deserves appreciation.
The second stage of the first day was the dance drama "Ravan". Nishantika Raut won the hearts of the audience by playing the title role. Tapasya Mandi as Hanuman is impeccable.
On the second day, in the first part, 'Manikya Veena" and "Mohana Pallavi" were staged with fame. In the second part of the day, the dance drama "Shyam Ange Rai" was performed which enthralled the audience. The audience got a glimpse of Mayapur and Vrindavan Dham. জগন্নাথ ভৌমিক, বর্ধমান : বর্ধমানের সংস্কৃতির জগতে 'নৃত্যবাসা প্রেরণা' একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য নাম। পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলা ছাড়িয়ে দেশে বিদেশে এই নৃত্য শিক্ষা কেন্দ্রের শিক্ষার্থীদের পরিবেশনা উচ্চপ্রশংসিত। গত ১৫ এবং ১৬ এপ্রিল দুদিন ব্যাপি নৃত্যবাসা প্রেরণা'র বার্ষিক নৃত্য উৎসব অনুষ্ঠিত হয় সংস্কৃতি লোক মঞ্চে। এক কথায় অনবদ্য পরিবেশনা। প্রতিটি নৃত্যের পলকে পলকে ফুটে উঠেছে নিরলস অনুশীলনের ছাপ।
বাংলা নববর্ষের সন্ধ্যায় সংস্কৃতি লোক মঞ্চে সুজন দাসের মঙ্গলা চরণের সঙ্গে প্রদীপ প্রজ্জ্বলনের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের শুভ সূচনা করেন বর্ধমান বাজেপ্রতাপপুর রামকৃষ্ণ আশ্রমের সম্পাদক স্বামী অজ্ঞেয়ানন্দজী মহারাজ। উপস্থিত ছিলেন জেলা তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি আধিকারিক রামশঙ্কর মন্ডল এবং নৃত্যবাসা প্রেরণার কর্ণধার তথা বিশিষ্ট নৃত্যশিল্পী অমৃতা দাস। উদ্বোধন পর্বের পরেই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত হন বর্ধমান সদর (উত্তর) মহকুমা শাসক তীর্থঙ্কর বিশ্বাস। তাকে উত্তরীয় এবং মেমেন্টো দিয়ে বরণ করে নেন নৃত্যবাসা প্রেরণার অধ্যক্ষা অমৃতা দাস।
দুদিন ব্যাপী আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে ছোট থেকে বড় সব মিলিয়ে মোট ২৬০ জন শিল্পী নৃত্যানুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। নৃত্য গুরু অমৃতা দাসের তত্ত্বাবধানে শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেদের সুন্দরভাবে মেলে ধরতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। শাস্ত্রীয় নৃত্য ওড়িশির নানান পর্যায় শিল্পীরা তাদের পরিবেশনার মাধ্যমে তুলে ধরেন। তার মধ্যে প্রথম দিনের শুরুতেই "জননী গো" শীর্ষক নৃত্য পরিবেশনা উপস্থিত দর্শকদের মন জয় করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। নৃত্য গুরু অমৃতা দাস সহ শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রত্যেকের নৃত্যশৈলী প্রশংসার দাবি রাখে।
প্রথম দিনের দ্বিতীয় পর্যায় ছিল নৃত্যনাট্য "রাবন"। যার নাম ভূমিকায় অভিনয় করে দর্শক সাধারণের মন জয় করেন নিশান্তিকা রাউত। হনুমানের ভূমিকায় তপস্যা মান্ডি অনবদ্য।
দ্বিতীয় দিনে প্রথম ভাগে "মানিক্য বীনা" ও "মোহনা পল্লবী" সুখ্যাতির সাথে মঞ্চস্থ হয়।। এদিনের দ্বিতীয় ভাগে পরিবেশিত হয় নৃত্যনাট্য "শ্যাম অঙ্গে রাই" যা দর্শকদের ভাবে বিভোর করে তোলে। দর্শক মায়াপুর ও বৃন্দাবন ধামের দর্শন লাভ করে 'হরে কৃষ্ণ' বলে দু'হাত তুলে জয়ধ্বনি দেন। গুরু অমৃতা দাস স্বয়ং ছিলেন রাধারাণির ভূমিকায়। কৃষ্ণ চরিত্রে যথাযথ সোমনাথ পান্ডা। উল্লেখযোগ্য চন্দ্রাবলী ও অষ্টসখীর ভূমিকায় যারা অভিনয় করেন তাদের অপূর্ব অভিনয় দক্ষতা দর্শকদের আকৃষ্ট করেছে। অপূর্ব পোশাক ভাবনা। সমগ্র অনুষ্ঠানটি সুন্দর ভাবে সঞ্চালনা করেন শ্যামাপ্রসাদ চৌধুরী।
